A blogger can encourage his readers to link to his website, and in return is going to link to those readers from his category pages. The readers will be happy that they received a backlink from a popular blog, while such blog will also obtain a lot of backlinks. There are many ways to obtain backlinks so I suggest that every webmaster should experiment to find the most efficient way.
