What is important for business owners is that they appear to their customers/clients as professionals. IN many cases this might mean having a high quality office, never being late, being dressed in a reasonable way, and maybe even having personal trainer business cards. Being professional can attract potential customers, because they will only want to deal with someone who is serious about what he is doing. There are many things a business owner can do to appear professional and in most cases this is going to depend what business he actually owns. A construction company is going to be completely different from a business consulting company.
