Food and NutritionData

One of the most useful things that technology brought us are websites. The website that I want to discuss today is NutritionData. This site offers nutrition facts, including food labels, calorie data, and nutritional information. It might not sound that revolutionary, but if you would take your time to actually use this site every week to plan what products to buy, then I assure you that it would be a revolutionary change. You would probably not only change what meals you prepare, but you would also be a lot healthier. As a technology enthusiast, I am a proponent of numbers and this website provides nutrition data of almost every product there is. You would be surprised how much more information you can get from this site compared to reading regular food labels, which do not provide almost any information in my opinion. I visit this site myself, and I suspect that within 10-30 years it will be a common practice to calculate exactly what nutrition elements a person requires, and then forming a diet, just by using a website like this. There might be other website of this type on the Internet, but what I like about this particular one is that it presents data in a very clear way.
