I would like to discuss RSS feed and email subscriptions. In this post I am not really going to answer which choice is better, but I just want to say that in some cases email subscriptions might be a better choice. WE have to admit that most blogs focus on RSS feeds and RSS subscribers a lot deal more than on email subscriptions. This is probably due to the fact that RSS subscriptions are very convenient, and are more and more popular. So why would anyone not want to be an RSS subscriber, but rather prefer to subscribe by email? The answer is that many Internet users simply didn’t learn yet about RSS feeds, and might not know how to subscribe to a feed or use RSS feed readers. This post is especially directed at blogs which deal with non-technical topics. I think it is important to remember that some people do not know everything when it comes to more technologically advanced stuff like RSS feeds. It is crucial to take that into account if your blog is in a niche that includes a lot of people who are non-technologically oriented. Offering various ways to subscribe to your blog posts is a great way to increase the number of readers you have.

Because more and more people have access to Internet each year, social networking is gaining more and more on popularity as well. People take advantage out of social networks and treat them as an alternative for looking for friends. Whereas there are some networks that are better and more user friendly than others, let me here give you a few reasons why social networking can be so fun:

1. Contacting other people is relatively easy and very fast. All you need to do is to create an account which will only take you a few minutes. You will be asked a few simple questions after which you will be ready to start interacting with other users. The questions are very easy, and among other things you will need to provide a valid email address. Usually, you will not be obliged to do anything that you would feel uncomfortable with. Even if some user starts harassing you, you are free to quit as soon as you want.
2. Registration usually does not cost anything. There will be some exception to that, but the good thing about the Internet is the fact that many things are for free.
3. You can very easily meet friends who share the same interests as you.
4. You are given an option to upload your pictures, blogs, audio messages etc. I am sure that many of us like doing that, and the thought that somebody might be reading our articles is thrilling.

When it comes to businesses, it pays off to invest in the relationship with customers. If you invest in the relationship with your customers it will surely have benefits in the future. What I mentioned here also applies to online businesses, so keep this in mind.

Probably most tech geeks already have a digital camera. However, there are still some people that have a traditional camera. The disadvantage of having such a camera is that pictures have to be developed. Personally, I am glad that I don’t have to have my pictures developed, because I have a digital camera. Of course, there are many other advantages of having a digital camera. First of all, it is more personal as nobody will have to see the pictures that you have just taken. Secondly, taking pictures is not expensive, and it actually will not cost you anything. You can take as many shots as you want, and you can take your time to choose the right picture that you will save on your PC. I cannot say how happy I am with my digital camera, because I have the possibility to take hundreds of pictures at any time.

Having a successful blog requires a lot of work and energy, and one of the things that you should not forget about are link exchanges with other blogs.
